Mia wanted to run to school today. She always wants to run. And Max never wants to run. He used to collapse in a heap and cry that “Mia’s too bast bor me!” Nowadays, he stays upright and pronounces his Fs, but the sentiment holds – he hates to race Mia because he always loses that race.
Of course, Mia doesn’t want to race, she just wants to run. So this morning, she managed to convince Max that it wasn’t a race, and that she should just run with her, even if she’s way faster than him. She did this by saying, “Come on! Our kids are at school! Let’s go for a run!”
I think we’re being wiretapped by a five-year-old.
