This started in Switzerland, but it’s no longer there. It’s here. And so are we. And really, there’s no good reason to stop writing.
So I won’t.
And yes, I am the champion of the world. Takes a lot of luck to win that title.

Hi!
I found your blog from Dan and Leanne’s blog. I am Leanne next door neighbor.
My husband and I lived in Switzerland, Basel, for almost five years before moving to Denver 6 years ago.
If you haven’s been to Basel yet you must visit this city. Don’t let the pharma view scare you. The historic town is a jewel, you’ll love it.
It is more international than Zurich.
There are also several things to do with kids: a puppet museum, the zoo, etc.
There is a decent Mexican restaurant (La Fonda, if I recall) just off the main square.
I agree with you that get to know swiss people is real hard, but once you do, they warm up to you.
Good luck and best of cheese.
